The Reviews Are In: Hear the Hype Behind the REDMAGIC 11S Pro

Success can be measured in many ways. For a gaming device, it's usually based on the responses following the launch and the in-depth reviews that take place. At REDMAGIC, we're no strangers to making headlines with every release – after all, we're always at the cutting edge of the mobile gaming industry in some way. Now, we get to cause a stir once more with the long-anticipated REDMAGIC 11S Pro.

Hot on the heels of its impressive big sister, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro, the 11S Pro made its grand entrance into the arena recently and quickly made a name for itself as well. To get a good idea of the reception of the 11S Pro, we've rounded up some of the latest reviews to see just how it's been faring out in the wild.

Pushing Performance Further

One of the hallmark traits of the new 11S Pro is undoubtedly the Leading Version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Equipped to clock CPU speeds up to 4.74GHz, the beastly engine pushes the bar further to deliver seamless multitasking, rapid processing, and superior performance overall. Ernest Doku wrote for Uswitch that raw processing power is where the REDMAGIC 11S Pro truly flexes its muscles, and it simply blows away the competition.

Doku noted that his demos of Where Winds Meet, Wuthering Waves and Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat absolutely shined when fired up on the 11S Pro, running at a buttery-smooth frame rate with only the occasional hitch. Running Genshin Impact cranked to the highest settings also ensured a stable 60fps throughout. Ultimately, he stated that while the 11 Pro may have set the standard for both gaming prowess and stamina, the 11S Pro picked up the baton to deliver further performance gains.

Putting the 11S Pro to the test for Phone Arena, Rad Slavov labelled the phone "a beast of the highest magnitude", citing that aside from the iPad Pro with M5 processor, the 11S Pro scored the highest results they'd ever recorded on the graphics-intensive 3D Mark tests. A feat which he attributes as much to the advanced cooling system as he does to the processing chip.

Slavov goes on to state that if you sort GeekBench or 3D Mark results from highest to lowest, you'll see that aside from the latest iPads with M3 or M5 silicon, the 11S Pro is typically the highest-performing handset, surpassing the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Let the Cold Front In

Another key element of the 11S Pro is the enhanced AquaCore cooling system that makes the phone the first in the industry to implement both liquid and active air cooling mechanisms. Armed with the same fluorinated flowing liquid cooling as its predecessor, the 11S Pro also boasts 10% improved liquid cooling efficiency alongside 2 - 3°C lower temperatures thanks to the larger 105 mm² area.

Slavov notes that the combination of the AquaCore's super-advanced passive cooling design, a unique 24,000 RPM fan, and the liquid cooling that's visible behind the transparent rear glass panel is what allows the 11S Pro to push the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chip to its limits and stay there longer than any other phone.

See Brilliance in Motion

To really test out the dazzling 6.85-inch screen on the REDMAGIC 11S Pro, CGM Tech watched shows like Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and Jujutsu Kaisen, noting that the BOE X10 AMOLED display on the 11S Pro was truly a visual spectacle that maintained clarity, whether watching visually stunning shows or playing high-graphics RPGs like Genshin Impact.

They also found that after hours of gaming, the screen did not smudge as easily as other phone screens, also pointing out the durable touch responsiveness, accuracy, and Wet Mode, which worked "surprisingly well" when gaming outside on a rainy day. Ultimately, the phone received a solid 8 out of 10 rating from the publication.

Endurance Goes Pro

To stay ahead of the drain, the 11S Pro packs a hefty 7,500mAh battery capacity that's bound to keep your winning streak going. Writing for Phone Arena, Rad Slavov stated that he'd been intensely testing the 11S Pro for several weeks and that, as far as gaming smartphones go, it is the new industry standard.

In terms of battery life, Slavov notes that with basic smartphone tasks like web browsing, watching YouTube, listening to music via Bluetooth, or browsing social media, the 11S Pro could very easily last you at least two full days.

To add to its convenience, the 11S Pro also features 80W wired and wireless fast charging, while also using our first-ever two-way, reverse charging system to keep all your devices powered up and ready to go. Slavov also noted in his testing that the battery capacity easily beat out the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra as well, delivering more power.

Get Your Game On

Now, we know that the true test of a performance titan like the 11S Pro is going to be the game testing. Designed to elevate gameplay, the 11S Pro comes with a rapid 144Hz refresh rate, our RedCore R4 gaming chip, and superior Game Space features that all improve graphics, stamina, and gaming skills. With AI frame interpolation 2.0, players can enjoy 33% lower latency, alongside superior display quality from a Synaptics 3910V chip for up to 37% improved accuracy, ultra-low latency, and up to 2,592 Hz PWM dimming.

Tech Nick went on to test out every game with maxed-out settings, enabling image upscaling and frame interpolation where available. Genshin Impact easily supported these features, with the phone managing a rock-solid 144FPS, which he noted was actually a pretty big deal considering the 11 Pro could only interpolate up to 120FPS, a feat he attributes to the updated REDMAGIC 11.5 OS.

Tech Nick also easily played Call of Duty Mobile, which didn't need interpolation since the 11S Pro can play the game at a native 144FPS even when using the very high graphics preset and super resolution feature in the game's settings menu. He further noted that most demanding games played flawlessly, the same way they did on the 11 Pro; however, the frame rate seems to be a lot more stable this time around due to the 11S Pro's software optimizations.

Tech Spurt also took the 11S Pro for a spin playing Wuthering Waves, jacked up to the absolute top visuals, and the game easily stuck on 60FPS with a frame rate "as solid and stable as a brick house."

He also noted that the 520Hz shoulder triggers give you a real advantage when you're aiming and shooting, and help to prevent your thumbs from getting tied into knots.

The REDMAGIC 11S Pro pulls no punches in its pursuit of perfection, effortlessly enhancing gameplay, performance, and cooling power to revolutionize the way you experience your game and day-to-day life. Every review and bit of feedback is valuable and allows us to continue providing world-class specs and features across the board.
