We had glimpsed it for the first time at the end of February , but now it's official: REDMAGIC launched its REDMAGIC Watch on the global market recently , thus expanding the spectrum of its sub-brand until now concentrated in particular on the gaming front.

Compared to the Nubia Watch , which sported a particular design with a curved screen surrounding the entire wrist, this is a product with a decidedly more traditional aesthetic: the case is circular , and houses a large 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454x454. pixel protected by a glass with a pleasant 2.5 D curvature. The interaction with the proprietary operating system will be possible either by touch or by using the two buttons on the left side of the body which can be of two different colors: Silver and Black .
REDMAGIC Watch weighs 30 grams and is equipped with GPS , guaranteed water resistance up to 5 ATM, as well as being equipped with a 420 mAh battery which, according to the company, would be able to guarantee about 15 days of autonomy. . Obviously there is no lack of support for sports activities, with 16 different modes, among which the one dedicated to football is particularly interesting: as on the ZTE smartwatch , in fact, even here at the end of the game we will be able to have (thanks to GPS) a heatmap of the areas of the field where we have been most active.
The sensors dedicated to wellness includes the GH3011 sensor for measuring (also continuous) of the heartbeat and that of blood oxygenation (SpO2), and there is no lack of sleep monitoring: all these data can be verified directly on the smartwatch, but also from smartphone thanks to the integration with the REDMAGIC Sports app. On a smart level, there is support for smartphone notifications, although it will only be possible to view them, and not respond. The absence of a speaker and a microphone from the data sheet also means that it will not be possible to answer calls directly from the watch, but only to reject them.
