Exciting Upcoming Games In 2023
The New Year is almost here, and that means it’s time to see what the next year has in store for us in terms of awesome games to play. If you haven’t seen the lineup of new games coming in yet, then you’re in for a treat cause some of these titles look super cool. We’ve had our eye on a few of them for a while now and just like you I bet, we can’t wait to play them.
What games are we looking forward to in 2023? Let’s take a look at our list of most anticipated games for 2023.
Rainbow 6 Mobile
Starting us off for games we are looking forward to next year is a game we have been watching for a while now, Rainbow 6 Mobile. Thanks to Cha0tik, we got to see what the game looks like on the REDMAGIC 7 Series gaming smartphones. He was able to live stream some of his time in the closed beta of the game, and it looks like a lot of fun. Fans of the PC version of the game probably also saw lots of elements and mechanics that they are already familiar with as well.
So far, there still isn’t a confirmed release date of when it will come out in 2023, but with the Closed Beta recently finishing up last month, it shouldn’t be too much longer now.
The Division Resurgence
Next up on our list of exciting games we can’t wait to play is an open-world third-person RPG shooter. You may have played the original Division games on PC so you’ll know what to expect, but if you haven’t, let me break it down for you. In a nutshell, it’s a third-person shooter RPG similar to Warframe or Destiny. However, the setting is a modern post-apocalyptic urban setting where you’ll have to hunt for supplies while fending off NPC bandits as well as players in the PVP areas. You’ll level up, find new gear, and upgrade your gear to continue getting stronger and better. In this mobile version, they are promising new content like storylines, gear, enemies, and factions so the game stays fresh and exciting all the time.
We haven’t seen too much about this yet in the form of alphas or betas, or a confirmed release date yet, so we are a bit like everyone else, waiting to see if it will be good or not. We hope it will be. We really enjoyed playing the Division games on PC in the past.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened
Maybe we’ve been playing a little too much Marvel Snap, but a card-collecting Harry Potter game is looking more and more fun these days.
This Harry Potter game is surprisingly complex for a mobile game focused on card collecting and card battling. Just like any other Harry Potter game, you’ll make your own student who is attending the school of Hogwarts where you will join one of the four houses, take classes and explore the school, brew potions, play Quidditch and of course, collect cards for magical card battles.
The game is already out in some countries and it looks like it is doing pretty well and is a lot of fun. So we are looking forward to getting finally getting our hands on it sometime this year.
Warcraft Arclight Rumble
Now if you want something that’s more chill than action, the upcoming Warcraft mobile game from Blizzard might be just what you need. It’s Warcraft, meets Clash Of The Clans. Collect an assortment of up to 60 heroes, with probably more to come in the future, and pit them against either the AI or each other in Clash of the Clans style games.
Chill games aren’t usually our thing, but sometimes, a relaxed, goofy game like this is just what you need to unwind. Here’s hoping Blizzard doesn’t mess it up like they did with Diablo Immortal.
Honorable Mentions
These are games that we haven’t heard much about and generally don’t have a lot of hard info on as of yet, but we’re looking forward to them all the same.
Should Be A Fun Year
Make sure to follow us on social media because we’ll more than likely talk about some of these games as they come out and as we play them. Our social media accounts is also a great place to tell us what games you’re most interested in playing in 2023 too. Be sure to give us a shout if we missed any games you’re looking forward to.
