How the Next-gen Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855+ Revolutionizes Mobile Gami

A lot goes into creating the ultimate gaming phone. So we put a lot into the REDMAGIC 3S.

It all starts with powerful tech, which is why we loaded the REDMAGIC 3S with innovative active liquid cooling, blazing-fast UFS 3.0 storage, a 5,000 mAh battery, and up 12GB of RAM. The REDMAGIC 3S is the total gaming package, but today we’re going to look at the ridiculously powerful mobile platform at the heart of the REDMAGIC 3S: the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855+.

Snapdragon™ 855 vs. 855+

Launched in early 2019, the original Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855 set a new bar in mobile computing with its graphic-enhancing Adreno 640 GPU and 2.84 GHz octa-core CPU. The new Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855+ is an overclocked and upgraded version of the same platform, designed specifically for gaming.

So, in a nutshell, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855+ is the best version of the best mobile platform. And it’s the best platform for gaming.

Ultimate Gaming Power

Right off the bat, the 855+ boasts a 15% increase in graphics rendering speed and boosted CPU performance. Meanwhile, an upgraded X24 LTE modem and WiFi modem deliver incredibly-fast data speeds. What does all of this mean? Better graphics, higher framerates, more stable online play, and overall smoother gaming.

Elite Daily Driver

While gaming is life, gaming isn’t everything. The ultimate gaming phone has to excel at everyday tasks, too. The Snapdragon™ 855+ ups your day-to-day experience with faster app loading times, more efficient multitasking, and improved battery life.

REDMAGIC 3S

When it comes to gaming, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855+ is king. And it’s even more jaw-dropping when combined with REDMAGIC’s suite of gaming tech and features. If you’re gaming on anything else, you’re just not doing it right.
