REDMAGIC Enables Cryptocurrency Payment Together With Utrust

As we are releasing our newest gaming flagship series to you, starting with the REDMAGIC 7, we are glad to announce today a new functionality to our customer experience.

 

With the exploding interest in cryptocurrency, NFTs, and the Metaverse, starting on March 10th we are enabling the use of cryptocurrency as a payment method on our official sites - redmagic.gg - together with Utrust, a leading blockchain-powered payment ecosystem.

By introducing cryptocurrency as a payment option, we aim to not only bring a new customer experience to crypto enthusiasts but to bridge the gap between the gaming and the Web 3.0 world.

How Does It Work?

It’s pretty easy actually. When you are ready to pay for your REDMAGIC order, you will find the Utrust plugin among the payment options. Once selected, you can pick one of 7 available cryptocurrencies options on the utrust page. The 7 cryptocurrencies that are accepted are:

- Bitcoin (BTC)

- Ethereum (ETH)*

- USD Coin (USDC)*

- Utrust (UTK)

- Dash (DASH)

- Tether (USDT)*

- Elrond eGold (EGLD)

 

Once your choice is picked and the transfer sent, your order will be confirmed shortly after. In case of overpayment, the Utrust platform will automatically refund it via email.

*Note: For USDT, USDC and ETH, please choose ERC20 wallet address when sending a transaction. If another network or currency is used, the funds will be permanently lost.

 

What Will Happen If I Need A Refund?

An important question I am sure you are now burning to know the answer too. We will accept refunds for orders paid with a cryptocurrency. The order will be refunded through the Utrust platform and will be in the same cryptocurrency that was used for the order and it will equal the fiat value of the order. Any network fees that may be incurred will be deducted automatically from the refund total. The crypto refund will be refunded directly to your crypto address.
